Our goal is to bless 1,500 Holocaust survivors, with all the holiday food essentials they need for Passover.
Will you please be a part of this Passover miracle?
Passover is supposed to be a time of joy, remembrance and family in Israel. But for many Holocaust survivors, it’s a painful reminder of loss and loneliness. Many of them have no family or loved ones left, and with over a third living in poverty, traditional holiday meals are often out of the question.
You can change that. You can show Holocaust survivors they are not alone or forgotten. You can show them that Passover miracles still happen today.
For just $50, you can bless a Holocaust survivor with a special Passover gift basket with grape juice, matzah or unleavened bread, charoset (a jam-like mixture representing the mortar of the bricks made in Egypt) and the ingredients they need to make a scrumptious Passover feast!
“In as much as you did it to one of the least of these, My brethren, you did it to Me” (Matt 25:40)
Bridges for Peace wants to ensure that every one of the 1,500 Holocaust survivors on our program can celebrate this happy time with all the necessary trimmings the holiday requires. These baskets packed with holiday treats serve as the physical evidence of Christian love and care.
As the sun sets on April 12 to mark the beginning of Passover, let’s make sure every survivor goes to bed knowing they are valued.
